Yes. Dan is one of the only builders in the area constructing true, code-correct basements, built specifically for Parker County clay soil. Wine cellars, theaters, storm rooms, and in-law suites are all on the table.
How many homes do you build at once?
Only a few at a time, by design. Capping active projects is how we protect the level of craftsmanship and responsiveness our clients pay us for.
Can you build on land I already own?
Absolutely. We'll walk your lot with you, evaluate the build envelope, sketch a fit, and give you a transparent cost range before you sign anything. Land prep, well, and septic coordination are handled.
How much does a custom home cost?
Custom homes in our area generally run $250–$550+ per finished square foot, and most Open Prairie projects fall in the $1.2M–$4M+ range, with homes typically starting around $1 million. You'll get a transparent budget up front - no allowance games, no surprise upgrades, no pricing tricks.
How long does it take to build?
Typically 10–14 months from groundbreaking to move-in, plus 3–6 months of design and permitting beforehand. Because Dan runs only a few builds at a time, most of our homes deliver within two weeks of the original target date.
Will I work directly with Dan?
Always. You hire Dan, you get Dan, on your job site every week, in every selections meeting, and on the other end of every phone call. No handoffs to a project manager you've never met.
